i'm sorry i haven't written to you in a while, i've been kind of busy. but here's some of the things i did that i like, or at least can recall doing.

dear friend,

untitled (2021)

we were tasked by our professor to make any artwork that shows what we learned in our introduction to multimedia arts class. i took it as to what we learned life-wise.. not technical-wise.. well, my professor still liked it. and so did i! tinkering with our old vhs camera was also fun.

god of the city (2021)

i made a random collage of my partner and it was just fun experimenting with colors and textures.

lydia and beetlejuice (2022)

my partner and i had a fun idea for a shoot because i wanted to re-do an old lydia photoshoot i did. the colors and lighting turned out great if i do say so myself, don't you think?

Nalilito - Red Myrich (Music Video) (2022)

i directed our friend's 3-part music video series. it was a fun experience that helped me work with clients and work with friends. i'd honestly love a chance to try more new things now that i know more about cinematography and storytelling.

Skill/s: Directing

Dapat - Red Myrich (Music Video) (2022)

on the 2nd part of the music video series i didn't just get to direct, i also got to edit it! again, very fun. got to know more. would like to learn more.

Mahal Kita - Red Myrich (Music Video) (2022)

the last part of the 3-part series was (again) fun! we also got to act a bit as extra characters since only a few of us were allowed at the location. like i said with the last 2 music videos, i'd love to do it again with the knowledge i have gained since then.

Skill/s: Directing

game on (2022)

i made this on a random night when i couldn't sleep. i was in the middle of my experimentation phase and wasn't even totally aware that i was already doing mixed media. i reused old individual photos of my partner and i, and took a photo of my fake gameboy. i really need a scanner, man. but at least the overall piece looks good, right?

Software/materials used: Adobe Photoshop, *fake Gameboy, Birthday candle

Skill/s: Photo manipulation

birthday burnout (n.d)

an experimental mixed media artwork i made about the random thoughts and annoyance i feel about the stress surrounding my birthday. thankfully, i'm less negative about that now.

Software/materials used: Adobe Photoshop, Air dry clay, Birthday candles, Canvas

Skill/s: Illustration, Photo manipulation

Twenty-One (2023)

oh! this one was really fun to do. one of my friend's birthday was coming up, and since one of the things we love to do together was film and do photoshoots, we thought we'd do that as a birthday gift for her that year. :) co-directed this with one of our other friends, and i edited the video while they edited the photos.

Software/materials used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro

Skill/s: Directing, Video editing

i made this one on one night where i felt overwhelmed with love from the people around me, but i have to explain myself here. disclaimer: the song 'Love Will get You There' is the property of Inhaler. this project is personal, and is non-commercial; created purely for creative exploration and practice. no copyright infringement is intended.
